My advice... find a girl - 8-10 years old and pay her a dollar a day or something. I'm not kidding. I had a neighbor when the kids were that age and her mom was happy to have her entertained for the hour and my kids LOVED having her now and then! Not to mention having a mom who didn't dissolve into tears every night at dinner as one more non-meal was served up:)
I recommend a cage.
